The event brings together talented and aspiring musicians from Kolkata and other cities to perform before a live audience and a panel of distinguished judges and professional artists

Popular among students and professors alike for its tantalizing performances and cultural elegance, Alaap attracts performers of a variety of genres every year, showcasing their talent and creativity while competing for a cumulative prize pool of ₹7,000.

This edition brings you UNGA DISEC, a committee where global powers clash over oil, critical minerals, trade routes, and economic pressure that can escalate into real conflict. In a world where sanctions, export controls, and military force shape today's headlines, expect heated debate, intense diplomacy, and high-stakes negotiations.

The Art of Written Expression

Between the Lines is an online creative writing contest that challenges writers to uncover the layers of their own thoughts. Open to participants across India, the competition features two categories — below 18 (school students) and above 18. Participants can write in English or Bengali and are free to choose the form of writing — poetry, prose, or essay.

Bringing together voices from every corner of the country, Between the Lines creates a stage for budding writers to earn recognition and make their mark.
